It is the purpose of the Elkhorn Penguins Swim Team to encourage, promote, and participate in competitive swimming activities. **Swim team is not a substitute for swim lessons Qualified swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance, have knowledge of how to swim the freestyle and backstroke, and be able to take instruction/coaching for up to an hour in the pool. The team swims many laps in each practice!

  • The Elkhorn Penguin Swim Team is a feeder program for the Elkhorn High School Swim Team.
  • 3 Sessions/Year: Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer
    • General Policies
  • Practices are generally Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings (check calendar for dates & times)
  • Swim meets are generally held on Friday evenings
  • Try-outs are required for new swimmers (don't forget suit, goggles, & towel)
  • Your volunteer help is encouraged!
    • Fee Guidelines
  • Fee: $100 / session
  • Family Fee: $100 for 1st child, $90 for 2nd, $80 for 3rd, etc...
    • Items for purchase
  • Suits & athletic wear may be purchased at the beginning of each session
  • Caps & goggles are available for purchase at any practice
